Bryant Park, next to the NY Public Library, was a den of drugs, thugs, crime and violence until the Giuliani years. This is what it looks like now:
The City of New York Museum has opened another branch in the South Street Seaport. It is not fully set out yet but the potential is evident and there is plenty to occupy an hour or two. The short films are fascinating to those interested in the history and development of the city in recent times. And for model ship enthusiasts, this is the Mecca!
